    Essentially, dating88.com provides a way for you to find and communicate with people of your choice, and a way for you to be found at the same time.

    On one hand, dating88.com can be used as your personal advertising platform. Your profile can appear in other members' match list so that they can "see" you. If your profile is "better" quality and you are more active then you receive more exposure.

    On the other hand, our AI-supported algorithm selects a number of Profiles (Matchs) for you to consider. The selection is based on what you desire and the quality of the profiles. You can view these Profiles, and "smile" to and message these members. Your viewing, smiling, and messaging are all saved and presented in your "Connections" page, from there you can continue your interaction with your potential life partner.

  3. How can I join Dating88.com?

    There are several steps to take to join Dating88.com "properly":

    • You start the process via the Registration page where you provide your email address and select a nickname for yourself, select your gender, confirm you are over 18 years old and agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then submit;
    • Once the Registration page is submitted we will send you a confirmation email.
    • Find the confirmation email and click the LINK inside it to confirm that you own the email address. If everything goes well your email will be confirmed and you have created your account with Dating88.com. You will be automatically logged into your Dating88.com account.
    • There is a rule at Dating88.com: you can not browse other members' profiles before completing your Profile.
      Therefore you are directed to Profile creation stage 1: provide information about yourself then submit;
    • Profile creation stage 2: provide information about your desired match then submit;
    • Profile creation stage 3: provide your photos then save and submit;
      Once your photos are successfully submitted your Profile is complete and you become a Standard member.
      Your profile will be waiting to be Published and you can do anything a Standard member can do, including browse other Profiles.

  4. What does "Publish" mean?

    A profile must be Published to appear in the "Match" list.

    Subquality profiles may not be published. For example, if the Portrait photo does not show the member's face, the profile is regarded as subquality and may not allowed to be published.

  5. Can I browse other members' profiles after creating my account?

    No. You have to create and complete your Profile before being able to browse other Profiles.

  6. What is the difference between Standard membership and Gold membership?
    • Standard membership is free, it allows the use of all features except initiating a contact by smiling to or messaging another member, but can respond if another Gold member initiates the contact.
    • Gold membership allows the use of all features including contacting any member by smiling or message.

  7. How can I become a Gold member?

    Standard members can pay to upgrade the membership to Gold for a fixed length of time. This is not a subscription therefore no need to remember to cancel the upgrade. Here are more details

  8. I forgot my login password, how can I solve this problem?

    On the login page there is a "Forgot your password?" link, click it will take you to the "Reset Your Password" page. You follow instructions from that page to set a new password, then use your new password to log in.

  9. Can I delete my account and Profile?

    Yes. You can delete your account together with your Profile (data), you cannot delete your Profile and keep your account.

    If you have paid for and not used your membership upgrade you may request a refund, subject to our Refund Policy.

  10. When I have trouble using your site, what can I do?

    We suggest you try these actions:

    • Try to refresh the page
    • Logout then log back in
    • Check if you have another device that logged into your account and did not log out
    • Failing all the above, report to cs@dating88.com the issue with details and we will try our best to sort it out
